​Who are the Friends?

  

The Friends of the Highlands Ranch Senior Center is a 501(c)3 organization that supports the Highlands Ranch Metro District's programs and activities for adults aged 55 or older.  The mission of the organization is to help older adults pursue meaningful educational, social, health, recreational, volunteer and leadership activities, thus allowing them to age independently in Highlands Ranch and surrounding communities.  Originally formed in 2004 as The Highlands Ranch Senior Club, the program has been operating continuously since that time.  It is headed by a volunteer Board of Directors who oversee fundraising activities.

The Colorado Gives Foundation

​

Colorado Gives Foundation is a community foundation (a 501(c)(3) public charity) dedicated to improving the lives of people in a defined geographic area.  They work statewide to help donors, whether they are individuals, organizations, or corporations, with giving accounts that fulfill their charitable interests.  They also run an online giving platform – ColoradoGives.org – that connects donors to nonprofits across the state of Colorado, and powers a giving day every December called Colorado Gives Day.

The Colorado Gives Foundation believes everyone can make good happen.  From businesses, to nonprofits, to individuals.  They are here to make it easy to donate to what you care about the most, so everyone can create meaningful change.  They spread good with you and for you, which is good for everyone.
